The COVID-19 pandemic has become a major concern for the people and governments across the world. The infectious nature of the Coronavirus and its easy-spreading make it an important event that no one from this generation can forget. It provokes the importance of Personal protective equipment(PPE) in people’s lives and become a more emotive subject.
As a precautionary action against the threat of COVID-19, CII Southern Region is organizing a Virtual Exhibition on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Medical Devices from 09 September – 10 October 2020 (One-month duration).
WHO IS CII?
The Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) founded in 1895, India’s premier business association. It especially works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the development of India, partnering industry, Government, and civil society, through advisory and consultative processes.
CII covers a wide range of private as well as public sectors including SMEs and MNCs with 9000+ members in hand. It is widely regarded as the most prolific non-profit-government and industry-managed organization that is tirelessly working on India’s development process.
In addition to its greatness, it has indirect members of 300,000+ enterprises from around 265 national and regional sectoral industry bodies.
In 2022, CII aimed to step up its self theme called India RISE(Responsible-Inclusive-Sustainable-Entrepreneurial) in partnership with the Government to boost the country’s growth and development.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Kerala is organizing the 9th Edition of Kerala Health Tourism, A virtual conference & Exhibition on Healthcare, Medical devices & PPE from 09 October – 07 November 2020.
Kerala model of Health care has got wide regard all around the subcontinent during the COVID-19 pandemic. This particularly attracted many healthcare support seekers to get into the god’s own country, Kerala. It set an example of how a state should act on healthcare during such a pandemic.

According to the Invest India report, the hospital industry is expected to reach $132 billion by 2023 from $61.8 billion in 2017; growing at a CAGR of 16%-17% percent.
